What does "RSVP" mean?

Répondez S'il Vous Plait :-)
RSVP stands for "Répondez S'il Vous Plait" - the French phrase for "Please respond" or "Please reply".
It is a standard abbreviation used at the end of an invitation to mean that you should let the people who invited you know whether or not you are coming.

Do you display ads on event pages?

Never.
Online-RSVP.com relies solely on the "activation fee" ($25) to cover our costs: hosting, customer service, developers... We don't display any ad on your page and won't ever do it.
We pride ourselves on providing the most elegant RSVP service for your wedding or other event - thus without any Viagra, Crocs or other disgraceful advertising ☺

Why do I have to pay - whereas other websites propose RSVPs for free?

The websites proposing "free service" rely on advertising or sell host / guests data.
They place ads on your event page or use your guests data for commercial / marketing purposes.
Besides, many of them propose a 'cheap service': limited features, limited number of guests, no professional images… You have to upgrade to a 'premium account' to use their service properly.

Online-RSVP.com is ad-free, every user is premium, everything is included: all the features, all the themes, all the guests, for 18 months.
We have to pay our developers to add new features, our designers to create new templates, our customer service agents - but also pay for hosting, photography rights, etc.

According the The Knot's annual survey, the average cost of a wedding in US was $34,000 in 2021. That is why we try to keep our fee ($25) as low as possible.

What is included in the $25 fee?

Everything.
All features, hundreds of design templates, professional images (backgrounds, illustrations, logos...), custom fonts, etc.
Unlimited guests, 5 sub-events (e.g. wedding ceremony, reharsal dinner, Sunday brunch...), 5 food preferences (e.g. starter, main...), 10 custom questions (multiple choice or open).
We won't ever ask you to pay any extra for premium features, additional guests, add-on services, etc.

We also provide the best support to all users: we answer all requests within 24 hours.
After activation, your event will be available during 18-months.

Is my data secure?

Yes!
All data is transferred through Secure SSL connection, and stored on Secure server.
Besides, we will never sell your data nor your guests' - unlike competitors proposing "free Online RSVP service". We rely solely on the "activation fee" ($25) to cover all our costs.

Can the design match my paper invitations?

Yes!
Your RSVP page is highly-customizable. You can use special fonts, colors, layouts matching your invitations. You can also use your own logo, upload various images (a personnalized background, a picture of you, etc.)
You should be able to create an online version of your wedding stationnery within few minutes.

Can you do a custom design?

Yes!

Do guests need to register to answer?

No.
They don't need to register, create an account or anything like this. It takes less than 2 minutes for them to RSVP.
If you want, you can ask them to provide their contact info (e-mail or phone number), or not. It is up to you!

How many guests can I invite?

As many as you want.
There is no limit in the number of guests per event.
To avoid spam, please note that we spread large volume invitations over few hours.

Can guests see the list of attendants / RSVPs?

No.
Only the event administrator(s) can access the list of guests and RSVPs - on the "dashboard page" (demo here).
You can add more admins if you need to: click on "... More" in the menu at the top, then "Administrators".

Can I use my own domain name?

Of course!
You can use your own domain name, then redirect to or point to your custom domain on Online-RSVP.com
The setup should be done on Domain name provider side, and could be slightly different depending on their platform. However, it should be pretty straightforward.
Our Customer Support team can assist if you need anything.

Can I edit my Event page after activating it?

Yes!
No stress - you can update your Event page anytime, even after activating it: changing theme, customizing the design, editing the info, adding/removing questions, etc.

Can I setup my event page in another language?

Yes! (Oui!, Ja!, ¡Sí!, да!, 是!…)
Your event page can be setup in 18 languages (English, French, German, Dutch, Spanish, Catalan, Portuguese, Polish, Hungarian, Turkish, Romanian, Greek, Macedonian, Hebrew, Bahasa, Arabic, Farsi, Chinese), or simply detect based on Browser settings.
Your language is not listed above? Contact us and we will be pleased to add any new language within 2-3 working days.

Can I show some sub-events (e.g. Dinner) to "select guests" only?

Yes, yes.
You can create a "Guest List", then assign "Labels" to some of your guests: "day guests", "night guests", "VIPs", etc.
On your Event page builder, you can decide to show some questions or schedule events to "all guests" or restrict to some "Labels" (e.g. "Night guests only").

Can I download my Guests List?

Yes, Excel or (Mac) Number format.
You can download your the lists of answers anytime - including sub-events, food preferences, open answers, etc.

How long will you keep my event active?

18 months from the activation date.
Please note that we can also deactivate your event earlier if you want us to do so - just drop us a message.

Can I collect payments on my event page?

Absolutely!
You can collect donations, get registry gifts or sell tickets directly on your Event page.
Easy for you: manage your RSVPs and payments easily, all in 1 place.
Easy for your guests: they don't need to create any account - only need to fill their Credit Card info to proceed to payment.

The average payment on our platform is $161. We work hard to keep our fees very low.
- Credit card processing fees: 2.9% + 0.3$ for US
- Service fees: 2.0% + 1.0$ or local currency equivalent
For a $161 transaction, you will thus receive $161 minus $9.19 fees = $151.81 (fees = 5.7%)

My wedding was rescheduled due Covid-19. Can I extend the activation period?

Of course!
We are very sorry for this, and will do anything we can to help.
